RACE 1

GANNET (3) - This Desmond Koh-trained six-year-old is beginning to look increasingly well handicapped on his best form and this would seem a very suitable race for him to win, now that he is nine points lower than his last success.

SOUTHERN GLORY (6) - With only one win to his name, he doesn't win out of turn but he has the assistance of champion jockey Vlad Duric and that is a big plus.

WHIZZY WALTZZY (4) - Running well at present and should be included in the quartet here.

BERLINETTA (8) - Gets on well with Nooresh Juglall and is well drawn to show his best here. Place chance.

RACE 2

TOOSBIES (1) - Has drawn a bit deep here but should go forward anyway. This three-year-old is fit and has an experience edge on others in this race. Suited back to the 1000m and looks hard to beat.

MAKKEM LAD (2) - Is first-up here. Has not raced since July but did trial well recently behind Augustano and on some of his form from last preparation this horse looks a danger. Worth considering strongly.

RIVER HAPPINESS (6) - Can improve here at his second start. On debut ran in a decent maiden and found some trouble in the straight. Could be value here and is worth keeping in mind.

TAX FREE (8) - Is on debut here and has only had one trial. Like what he showed there in that trial, was asked to quicken up at the 200m and showed a turn of foot. From barrier No 1, he should get a nice run on the speed and can run a bold race

RACE 3

WONDERFUL PAINT (3) - As green as Bob Marley's tobacco tin last time out when winning a Kranji D on the turf over this trip. Handles the surface and goes great for Noh Senari (two from two). He has a bit going for him here and can go very close.

SUN GENERAL (2) - A great second over the course and distance would be good enough to see him win this off only one point higher and has the assistance of the excellent Simon Kok to offset three very handy kilos.

ANGEL HALO (4) - Second in a recent trial on the back of a below-par effort when only 7th behind stablemate Bebop at $12. If he bounces back here, he can make an impression.

RED RIDING WOOD (7) - Second last time out in a similar contest and will stay the trip strongly.

RACE 4

GRATUS (5) - A huge run on debut when second to Jomo on the Polytrack (beaten 4 _ lengths). He should improve from that performance and the form has been franked with Thomas De Lago running fifth and has since been successful next time. There is a wide draw to overcome, but his running style may well suit that.

IRVING LIPSCHITZ (11) - Won his latest trial with the blinkers on quite nicely and this $23,000 two-year-old purchase looks to have found a weak race on debut.

MY FRIENDS (1) - The debut run in June over the course and distance was very good when second to King's Speech. The two subsequent runs were poor (1000m Poly & 1400m turf). He has trialled well leading up to this and should be considered.

THE BIG EASY (8) - Has not looked the most tractable in races and trials so far but has got ability and Vlad Duric will take the ride which has to be a big plus. One to watch.

RACE 5

INVINCIBLE MAN (6) - Ran really well for second last time out behind The Golden Goat over the course and distance. Would have to be a chance with another bold show here.

HERO I AM (1) - Down in grade now, having run home okay last time out for fourth in a stronger race. He is five points lower than his last win and would look nicely handicapped on best form.

OPTIMUM STAR (4) - Just a point higher than his success over 100m further in June. Trainer and jockey are in good form and is one to add into the mix here.

THOMAS DE LAGO (2) - Finally got the win last time and the booking of Vlad Duric certainly catches the eye also. Should be included.

RACE 6

SUPER SIX (5) - This eight-year-old is extremely well-handicapped on his best form and two good efforts in defeat recently suggest he is ready to win another for Leticia Dragon and looks an excellent chance for Vlad Duric to get on the scoresheet.

SUN ARES (7) - Good run at latest start over slightly shorter and judged on that run, it should see him go well here.

SAHABA (10) - On-pace runner who has been well fancied in his last couple of starts in Kranji D's. A market watch in this for sure and more than capable of a bold bid.

FUSION POWER (6) - The course and distance runner-up spot was very good last start for his young apprentice and the 4kgs off again will be a big help. Top four material.

RACE 7

PRINCE PEGASUS (3) - Showed good improvement last start albeit not having a lot of luck in the straight. Has the upside to progress yet again and will appreciate the step-up in journey. Expect bold showing with Vlad Duric back in action.

TOP KNIGHT (8) - Handy type who has developed a serious record in a short career. This assignment is tougher than recent tasks but is hard to knock being a last-start winner over the track/distance. Major player with Olivier Placais retaining the ride.

MORITZ ECLIPSE (1) - Last-start winner over 1400m at big odds. Creeps up in the ratings and in weight but is somewhat offset by stable apprentice Simon Kok taking over the reins. Well drawn to perform so must be considered again.

PANACHE (6) - Performed only fairly first-up from an extended break. Will strip fitter for this assignment and rises in journey to a suitable distance. Capable of figuring on best efforts, so must be included in the mix.

RACE 8

SIAM VIPASIRI (7) - Talented filly who was very impressive last time out when scoring by over two lengths. Extremely upwardly mobile and looks the one to beat.

MISS DUSTY (6) - A likeable mare who has done little wrong of late and was very good last time out when winning. Should give the selection much to think about.

I'VE GOT A FEELING (4) - Has a wide barrier which is a concern, but if he overcomes that, he is a solid chance and one for the top four.

STAR EMPEROR (8) - Winner on local debut and has since won a trial (62.92) over the mighty Lim's Cruiser. Looks a useful type and can continue to improve.
