Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Seymour, Sunshine Coast and Nhill.

SEYMOUR: RACE 7 @ 4:45 PM

NEW SOVEREIGN (5) resumed with a tidy win in a 0-64 at Geelong, scoring by 0.8 lengths over a handy enough horse in Samurai. He's always promised a decent level of ability and this looks a very suitable next assignment. Can win again. SUPER TROOPER (6) has won his past two, winning his maiden here two back before taking a BM58 at Kyneton last time. Can measure up. SNAPPY SECRET (2) has been okay without winning this time in and will find this easier than recent runs in BM70 grade, the latest behind the progressive Haraldus at Bendigo. Can bounce back here. CAMERON FALLS (7) won his maiden narrowly at Geelong last time over 1421m and could measure up on an each way basis.
SELECTIONS: New Sovereign to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 1 @ 1:25 PM

ZINOTAR (6) has been knocking on the door of a maiden victory with three consecutive placings this time in work and strikes a very winnable contest here. Has placed two from two around this circuit and will be ready to peak now fourth-up from the spell. Rates the testing material. BIT OF GRUNT (1) put in a career-best performance last time out and gets some weight relief with claim. Looms as the main danger. KHANT QUIT (4) is unlucky to still be a maiden finishing runner-up at his past couple of outings and draws the inside marble. Top-three conveyance. ABOVEFORTY (7) wasn't too far off them at the latest effort and must be respected from the Waller camp. In the mix for some minor money. DEJA ZOU (3) next best in a race with only a handful of chances.
SELECTIONS: Zinotar to break through.

NHILL: RACE 7 @ 5:00 PM

NULLAFIORD (3) has been freshened since a below par effort latest. Was a winner the start prior. Will find this easier than last time and gets chance to atone. VERBOSITY (1) has been super honest with big weights lately. Carried 62kg latest when a narrow second making it three placings from the last five runs. Same weight here but looks an easier line-up and expected to go close again. TUNDRA (4) is a South Australian visitor who has raced just three times for his new barn. Formerly from NSW the gelding has joined the astute horseman Brett Campbell and has two wins and a second from the three outings. He looks a top chance fresh if on song. SIR DOMIGO (2) resumes and although might want a shade further is suited this grade and will be running on hard.
SELECTIONS: Nullafiord can atone.
