Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Canterbury, Eagle Farm, Murray Bdge, Sandown-Hillside and Pinjarra Scarpside.

CANTERBURY: RACE 4 @ 2:35 PM

LLANDDWYN (5) found the line with gusto again last start over 1100m at Warwick Farm, making up a few lengths to get up for third. Cherry ripe after three runs back from a spell and the step up in distance is ideal. Great chance to make it 2/2 at this track and distance. NICCI'S GEM (11) stalked the pace then closed well but just missed when resuming over 1200m at Wyong last time out. Genuine mare who led all the way to score at Hawkesbury second-up last prep. Sure to give a great sight. DIAMOND MODEL (1) went back from a wide alley before charging home late to miss by a neck over this course and distance recently. Fitter for two runs in and looks a serious threat back against the mares. Lightly raced filly MERCHANT LADY (10) did a good job first-up at Newcastle and cannot be underestimated. KITTY CHAT (7) is back from a six-month break. Defeated Llanddwyn first-up last prep so she must be considered.
SELECTIONS: This looks a nice race for Llanddwyn.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 3 @ 1:08 PM

VICTORY COMMAND (15) just missed at Ipswich second-up following the switch from a top Victorian barn. Maps for the run of the race and has been briefly freshened. He has strong metro form and can go one better with the extra fitness. MEAT PIE ARTIE (8) resumes with a tidy effort at Doomben and rates well on the three Eagle Farm efforts prior. The longer sprint suits and Noel Callow is an interesting jockey switch. LIETUVA (6) resumed in the same contest and placed close-up. The leading hoop is aboard today and that's a decent push for his chances. He's sure to keep improving. SMOKE 'N' OAKUM (11) resumed with a nose defeat at the Sunshine Coast starting a firm favourite. He just missed his only second-up outing rating well and also has claims.
SELECTIONS: With Victory Command.

MURRAY BRIDGE: RACE 4 @ 1:20 PM

MINE ALL MINE (2) has been competitive in his first three starts and carries good form-lines. Should be hitting her peak now and in-form hoop Samuel Payne to pilot. Ready. CINCHONA (8) also returns. Didn't make too much of an impression on debut before heading back to the paddock. Worked fairly to the line in sole lead-up trial all under her own accord. Crowther reunites and is expected to have the filly chasing hard late. WADAANA (12) has come close to shedding the maiden tag on many occasions this campaign. Has a horror draw to overcome but carries a fitness edge and is worth including. Debutant STRONG MINDED (4) should be kept safe and any market support needs to be respected.
SELECTIONS: Mine All Mine to win.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 6 @ 3:20 PM

HE'S BESET (7) looks nicely placed. He's never missed a place in four Australian runs, winning at Caulfield first-up before a solid placing at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten under a length. He maps for a soft run from the gate and should be very hard to hold out. ROGUE ROCKER (5) ran well first-up at Caulfield over 1200m, hitting the line nicely to be beaten 3.5 lengths. His form last time in reads well and the extra trip suits. BAROQUE ROAD (3) has had two runs back from a spell and will find this easier than last start in Sydney. Can roll forward and take beating. AWAPUNI PRINCESS (12) will be running on strongly.
SELECTIONS: He's Beset to win.

PINJARRA SCARPSIDE: RACE 7 @ 6:45 PM

LOVA SESSION (3) has played the bridesmaid role throughout this campaign, finishing 0.8L off the winner most recently. She drops back to Wednesday grade today though and Pike sticks from a favourable alley. Been close all campaign and now gets her chance to cross the line first. SNIP'S ROCK (11) was an impressive winner over the mile on this track two back before a 4.4L defeat at Northam last start. Getting back to this track should suit and the wide draw won't hurt his chances. Can put his best foot forward. BAY STREET (12) is ticking along nicely this campaign and will again relish the rise in trip. Big tick with Chris Parnham taking the ride. BAMBUN BOY (2) can go close if he runs up to his latest effort.
SELECTIONS: Lova Session can be the bride this time around.
