Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Randwick Kensington, Moonee Valley, Doomben, Mudgee, Mornington, Moe, Port Lincoln, Canberra, Devonport, Darwin and Esperance.

RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 3 @ 4:40 PM

CANDLEWICK (5) improving filly who scored a slick win on debut, before running on late when a sound second over 1200m at Wyong on November 23. Ready for this trip and sure to make a big impact. STING IN THE TAIL (8) rounded them up effortlessly on resumption with a smart maiden victory over 1500m at Hawkesbury on November 12. Nose-roll goes on and expected to take a hand in the finish. JOYNER (3) kept fresh and showed good early dash from the inside gate when leading throughout to score over 1200m at Canterbury on November 20. Drawn out for this and not without place prospects. VALETUDO (4) went out a winner last prep and returned from a seven-month break when a solid fifth over 1250m at Canterbury on November 15. Will appreciate the 3kg claim in this easier event and goes into the exotics.
SELECTIONS: Candlewick to win.

MOONEE VALLEY: RACE 6 @ 8:45 PM

PROVED (6) looked a smart winner on debut at Moe over this trip, leading throughout to score by two lengths. She's open to plenty more improvement and should be able to go right on with it here. CHARMING DEEL (8) resumes. She's still lightly raced having run well without winning in three runs last time in on synthetic tracks. She'll be hard to hold out here. JENNI THE JET (11) was a smart maiden winner two back at Benalla before tackling a stronger race here last time, not firing. This looks more suitable. TREVENSON (2) resumes having shown plenty of promise in his maiden campaign, finishing top three in all four starts. He can measure up strongly. CHECKTHEMENU (5) was a comfortable maiden winner on debut and can take catching.
SELECTIONS: Proved to win.

DOOMBEN: RACE 8 @ 6:50 PM

CERTAINLYCAN (4) resumes after a lengthy lay-off but was a dominant winner over this track and trip before the break and has looked to have come back in good order with two strong recent trials. Sure to be up to scratch from the Gollan barn and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. BOLLINGER MISS (7) has a win and a second from two starts here and has been racing in fine fashion this campaign. Looks a serious danger. ABOUT TO EXPLODE (1) strips fitter second-up from the spell and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside marble. Top-three aspirations.
SELECTIONS: Certainlycan to go back-to-back.

MUDGEE: RACE 4 @ 2:54 PM

Promising filly PERFUMIST (4) stepped up to today's trip for the first time last start at Bathurst and missed out by the barest margin after making up plenty of late ground. Very fit and no doubt will benefit from that last outing. Ready to win again. TONKATSU GODDESS (2) had been racing well and deserved her maiden win last time out over this distance at Scone. On-pacer who will make her own luck and looks good enough to take this next step. LIGHTNING SPEED (6) stalked the pace then was too good in a Tamworth maiden over 1200m ten days ago. Nicely placed out to seven furlongs for the first time so another big run looks likely. Last start Orange maiden winner TITHING (8) is a lightly raced mare with plenty of improvement in store. It's been a while between drinks for DARK VADOR (3) but the last effort was an eye-catcher. SELECTIONS: Perfumist is ready to win.

MORNINGTON: RACE 3 @ 1:55 PM

TARTAN BELLE (12) turned in an eye-catching run fresh. Found traffic but hit the line well when clear and finished runner-up. Fitter and can go one better. POTSIE'S DAUGHTER (9) also finished runner-up fresh. Was safely held by the impressive winner but beat the rest and looks a leading chance here. HIDE YOUR ASSETS (6) was thereabouts on debut then improved to finish runner-up latest. Did run on well and looks to have good upside. HIONADO (7) ran an improved race second time out when not far from the winner. Looks suited by the extra ground and can sneak into the finish here.
SELECTIONS: Follow up on Tartan Belle.

MOE: RACE 4 @ 2:50 PM

SAVAMOON (10) kicked on strongly in a tough tussle last time out at Bairnsdale when he missed the bob of the head and finished second by a nose. He will continue to improve with racing and can go one better. STEEL IMPACT (14) ran on with purpose second-up at Donald to finish fifth nearly 3 weeks ago and will find this company more to her liking third up. She steps up to a mile for the first time and has solid top 3 claims this time. CHESAPEAKE BABE (11) got the shuffle up at the wrong time at Seymour last time out and only battled into fourth place once clear. She will be peaking for this third up and is well worth including in all multiples. LARRYOCTANE (3) strips fitter second up and is a quick improver at odds. Each-way value.
SELECTIONS: Savamoon to win.

PORT LINCOLN: RACE 2 @ 3:15 PM

Not a great deal of depth here. OK GERRY (6) has been solid in her two runs back. Has found it tough to break through but she looks headed in the right direction to do so this time in. Should be nearing her peak now third-up and is the one to beat. EIGHTY NINE BELOW (1) tried hard to earn herself a minor cheque last start Ceduna. Needs to find a bit more but is worth some thought. ROLLING DUCK (10) was far from her best first-up but has been freshened with a 40-day break. Improvement likely. ROCKSTAR DANCES (9) next best.
SELECTIONS: Ok Gerry to win.

CANBERRA: RACE 4 @ 3:38 PM

DUBAI WARRIOR (5) overcame a wide barrier and slow start to miss narrowly at Scone on debut. He'd trialled well leading into that and Heywood goes aboard and he's building a tidy record with the Sydney stable. Strips fitter and can go on with it. Doubt there's much between GREYGENTA (12) and GLORY (8) who have their second race outings. They both bring narrow defeats from Goulburn but Glory jumps from the outside barrier. AUTUMN AROHA (4) debuts and has been well-trialled at Warwick Farm. He has to be kept onside.
SELECTIONS: Dubai Warrior to win.

DEVONPORT SYNTHETIC: RACE 7 @ 6:40 PM

PINANDI (7) comes back 320m off a 1.2L defeat at Hobart heavily bet and she was just as good there prior. The blinkers come off and a senior hoop replaces the apprentice. She deserves another chance. MISS VIVACE (4) brings similar form lines and has been kept on the fresh side. Keeps the 2kg claim and maps for a soft run. TIDEFORD (8) was much-improved narrowly beaten behind Irish Storm at Hobart. He's also back in distance and has claims. UNNERVING (9) just missed in the same contest and lost his rider the one before. Keeps the 3kg claim but has the outside barrier and will have to do it the hard way. SELECTIONS: Going with Pinandi.

DARWIN: RACE 4 @ 6:21 PM

MISS MOOV (7) did well fresh up in her first local start here nearly 3 weeks ago when finishing runner-up over 1100m. She drops back into a maiden-only contest second up and won't have an issue dropping back to 1000m. Hard to beat this time. CARAT TIME (1) did not do much after making a slow start fresh up here in his first start since making the move from Victoria. He showed some talent earlier in his career and if he can make an even beginning this time, he can have a say in the finish. Include in all combinations. EASE OFFA (3) has yet to show much since moving from South Australia. He won't have any fitness concerns third up and could be ready to show some worthwhile form in a race that lacks any real depth of form. KISS KISS KISS (6) fought on well enough to finish third against most of these fresh-up and should naturally improve with that run under her belt. Stick with her on an each-way basis.
SELECTIONS: Miss Moov to win.

ESPERANCE: RACE 3 @ 6:35 PM

TALK SOFTLY (4) went around in a very strong race at Kalgoorlie first-up and the form out of that was very strong. While he was 80-1 there, his form at this level prior was very good and he's won 2/4 second-up. Maps for a beautiful run today and he can bounce back to winning form. AL QUEPONE (2) is first-up for nearly a year today but will be fitter for a recent trial here. His fresh record is a niggle, though he is undefeated at this track and trip. Galati sticks from the trial and he can play a major role on resumption. I AM SPARTACUS (1) is another on resumption today, but he comes in without a trial. He's performed well fresh in the past and he should get his chance from gate two. He shouldn't be far away at the finish. NODUSTONME (7) was good first-up in a Cl5 event here and drops a stack of weight today. Drawn well and can be in the finish with improvement likely.
SELECTIONS: Talk Softly looks the one to beat.
