Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Coffs Harbour, Ballarat, Sunshine Coast, Carnarvon and Canberra Acton.

COFFS HARBOUR: RACE 5 @ 2:40 PM

RUMEUR (7) Kiwi gelding who finished fourth in G3 company over 2100m two starts back, before dropping out sharply when 14th over 2180m at Ipswich on May 22. Pulled up with thumps and heat stress at latest and can turn things around quickly today. DIAMONDS FORDAYS (12) having her third race start today and should get the trip after running a plugging fourth over 1890m at Newcastle on June 1. This is much easier and Ben Looker takes the ride. HIGHLAND RAIDER (2) placed this track and trip and gets weight relief with the claim today. Ran on late when sixth over 1900m at Taree on May 27. Finds a weak race to take a hand in the finish. MONTE KAHUNA (10) found form at his last two outings and worth plenty of thought after running fifth over 1735m at Grafton on June 8. Backs-up quickly and must be considered.
SELECTIONS: Rumeur to win.

BALLARAT SYNTHETIC: RACE 1 @ 1:00 PM

POWER OF THREE (11) resumes. She ran well enough on debut at Ballarat when $3 in the market behind a handy one before being thrown in the deep end against some smart types in the Ballarat Magic Millions 2yo Classic. Looks suited here off a trial win and should take beating. CAP TEN (8) resumes having debuted in the Blue Diamond Preview behind High Octane. Better for that experience and should prove competitive. GRONAR (3) was much better last start at Mornington when back to this trip. Should be thereabouts. LA FILLE ROUGE (6) was sound here last start and is in the mix based off that. GRACEFUL (5) is a filly by Dundeel on debut who can run well.
SELECTIONS: Power Of Three to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 2 @ 3:57 PM

TERMAGANT (10) resumes here but didn't do much wrong in her first preparation with a second at Ipswich on debut before getting the job done over this track and trip before the spell. Has since been given time to furnish and can go right on with it now. Looks the one with the most upside. RUSSIAN PINS (14) is one from one over this course and distance and is usually thereabouts. Top-three commodity on best form. PINK CASHMERE (12) strips fitter second-up, draws the inside alley and gets 1.5kg off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. KERNEL BOOM (5) may earn a cheque.
SELECTIONS: Termagant to win.

CARNARVON: RACE 1 @ 2:15 PM

THE KING'S AFFAIR (9) switched barns and missed a whisker here first-up. Brought strong provincial and metro form to that and fitter should have them covered. WAR TACTICS (1) was also first-up for a new stable and was beaten 2L in the same contest. Has a low barrier today and a 2kg claim and may get closer. SLAVICA (8) resumes and has switched from a metro born. Has placed fresh and her best would have her right in it. CALICO'S GIRL (7) just battled away second-up after a tidy return. She has more to give and finally draws an inside gate. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: With The King's Affair.

CANBERRA ACTON: RACE 7 @ 4:10 PM

CRAVING MAGIC (8) delivered the hat-trick by a space first-up this track/trip and then went to Melbourne and found the grade a bit rich. Arrives here on a 9-day backup and is proven third-up. Maps for a soft run and fitter is the one they have to beat. LOVE SHUCK (2) didn't get warm from a wide gate in a 72 at Rosehill but posted a strong relative figure winning a Wagga 74 prior from the front. Heywood is a positive jockey booking and he will be suited around this circuit. Peaks and is a serious player. Tougher sorting the others. FERRARI GIRL (11) led and belted the 58 graders here surprising the market. Drew wide in that and again today. She can skip over and give a sight. Dryden-trained TROOPER KNUCKLE (7) is also fourth up and he's a better chance than the form line suggests. Needs a good ride but will only carry 52 kilos and has been kept on the fresh side for the shorter sprint. NIC'S HERO (10) is going well enough to include at a big price.
SELECTIONS: Backing Craving Magic to win.
