Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Moruya, Taree, Sale, Horsham, Sunshine Coast, Mount Gambier and Bunbury.

MORUYA: RACE 3 @ 2:15 PM

YOUR NOT THE BOSS (7) handy gelding who gets the right set-up today from the low draw. Total forgive from the outside gate when a plugging 13th over 1400m at Kembla Grange in Midway grade on November 23. Can stalk the speed and bounce back to form. CANI CANCAN (6) bonny mare racing in a rich vein of form. Returned good figures when sitting on the fast tempo for a narrow win over 1000m at the Sapphire Coast on December 2. Yet to win past 1200m and set to peak fourth-up. KATTEGAT (1) was only fair in two runs back in stronger grade. Faded late from the wide draw when sixth over 1200m at Canberra on December 6. Goes well this track and gets plenty of favours today. MERC (4) can play a role in the finish while fresh.
SELECTIONS: Your Not The Boss to win.

TAREE: RACE 5 @ 4:25 PM

SUNNY'S GIRL (14) gets back in her races so needs a bit of luck but her final splits are impressive. Came from worse than midfield to get up for third last start over 1200m at Coffs Harbour. Placed at Doomben prior to that which is great form for a race of this calibre. The one they have to beat. AMARONE (6) defeated warm favourite Launch Sequence (Race 3 today) to narrowly take out a 1000m Tuncurry maiden recently. Has only been to the races three times so he has plenty more to offer. Last start Muswellbrook maiden winner BONDI PROPHET (7) needs luck from the draw but cannot be ruled out. TA SET NEFERU (9) resumes. Two trials in November should have her ready to run well.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Sunny's Girl.

SALE: RACE 1 @ 1:10 PM

THE VIKING (4) is a well bred gelding by Written Tycoon who debuts for the Hayes yard here. He's won three trials leading in, including one at Seymour by seven lengths. Shinn booked, he looks set for a big run. CAVALLA VELOCE (9) is a filly by I Am Invincible out of a good mare in Volpe Veloce who was a $500,000 yearling. She's trialled well for the Hayes yard also and can win. TOYZ IN ZOULAND (14) is a Zousain filly on debut who can run well. I AM VICTORIOUS (1) returned from a spell last start and finished just 0.6 lengths from the winner in third at Mornington over 1000m. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: The Viking to win.

HORSHAM: RACE 7 @ 5:00 PM

EARLY WARNING (6) brings strong form from Warrnambool and Ballarat and is suited in this contest. She can sit forward with cover and appeals. ROCKET BOY (8) raced well in the bush before a 1.9L defeat and Benalla. Maps well and has weight relief at this level. Likes this trip and is a quinella chance. CRAFTY BOSS (3) flopped on a heavy track before recording a Maiden win at Hamilton over a mile. He will give away a start but will hit the line. In the mix. STAR TESTYMONY (2) ran a better race last start to finish third over 1600m at Colac. Keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Early Warning to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 1 @ 13:49 PM

The well-related SAFETY ROPE (1) (half to Listed winner and 3xG3 placed So You Win) looked handy winning a recent trial here, draws the inside alley and gets some weight relief with the 3kg claim. Ticks a few boxes on debut. DAISY'S PRIDE (5) was thereabouts in both starts earlier in the year before being tipped out for time to furnish. Can return in winning order. HANEY (2) is at the races for the first time and any market support must be respected. BOBBI DARLIN' (9) makes return in new yard and looks a strong place chance
SELECTIONS: Safety Rope on top.

MT GAMBIER: RACE 4 @ 3:38 PM

FOUR OUTLAWS (1) never looked likely first-up at Naracoorte when but did make some late ground to finishing midfield. Has a fair bit of improvement to come. No surprise to see her fighting out the finish. OSTILE (4) drops back sharply in trip off a 62-day break. Suspect he will find himself in a tricky spot from the low draw but is one to watch for late in the piece. Worth each-way consideration. FIGHTING SWEET (10) hasn't done much in recent runs but will strip fitter and is well placed. Can feature. FIFTH HUSBAND (8) can contest for a place.
SELECTIONS: Four Outlaws on top.

BUNBURY: RACE 8 @ 8:35 PM

GI GI POPS (10) looks a really nice horse in the making and won a stronger race than this at the end of last campaign at Belmont. The wide draw is a niggle, but she looks ready to go to the next level this time in work and she has enough early speed to negate the wide draw. Can pick up where she left off. LA DETTE (3) ran on well at Geraldton last time out and he maps for a much better run this time from a better barrier. The form out of his last start has worked out well and he should be at his peak now fourth-up. Should be right in the finish. CANNY CONI (9) has strong claims following an eye-catching finish last start over 1300m at Pinjarra. SOLDANELLE (4) Will be back in the run but should be flashing home late in the race.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Gi Gi Pops.
