Race 1: OWN THE DREAM COMPETITION NOW OPEN MAIDEN (1400m)
CEILI (5) sat up on speed last time out over 1200m here and just felt the pinch late, beaten 0.8L. Steve Parnham hops in the saddle now second-up and out to this trip looks to suit. She'll strip fitter now and if she can hold her form, she should be getting the job done here. AUTHORATIVE (3) ran home strongly as favourite over this course and distance last time out, turning in back-to-back performances capable of winning a maiden. Gaerth will claim 1.5kg again and with a touch of luck he can shed the maiden tag. MISS GRAPHENE (7) closed off nicely after being a long way off on straightening, beaten 1L in the same race as Authorative last time out. She draws a much better gate today third-up into the preparation and it wouldn't surprise to see her right in the finish. REEL THEMOFF (1) resumes for a new stable after nearly a year on the sidelines. He did win a recent trial though and has claims. HIGHLY SPOKEN (4) is better than he showed last start and can bounce back.
Race 2: ROYAL ASCOT RACING TOUR MAIDEN (1400m)
ADMIRE THE GIRL (8) just missed last time out over this course and distance as favourite, beaten 0.5L. She draws awkwardly today, but CJP hops back in the saddle and she drops slightly in weight. Not far away last start and can land the knockout blow this time. REDBACK FLYER (6) has shown glimpses of ability at the trials and Chris Parnham has been on board for both trials coming into this. He has winners littered throughout his family and if he'll give this a good shake if he can run up to his trials efforts. FOREVER FALYON (14) is another on debut today who has shown ability at the trials, particularly this time in work. With the raced brigade looking little thin, the race looks ripe for some fresh blood and she can make her presence felt on debut. DECISION MAKER (1) has been in good order this campaign and will appreciate the extra trip this time. CLASSIC IMPACT (7) is better placed back to this level and is not to be discounted.
Race 3: COUNTRY COMFORT PERTH RACY WEEKEND GETAWAY MAIDEN (1100m)
ART SESSION (10) found one better on debut at Belmont when jumping favourite, beaten 1.8L. He'll be fitter and more experienced for that run and the trials suggested he wouldn't be a maiden for long. Chris Parnham sticks with him and he should be getting the job done this time. MONEY TREES (7) has impressed at the trials lately, only being sighted publicly once this time in work. He looks to have his share of ability and while the outside draw is sticky, there's not a lot of depth to this race. Can play a major role on debut. SUPER SNIPPY (1) has been right around the mark of late, running on well to be just 2L off the winner most recently at this track. Form out of that race has stacked up nicely and Joe Azzopardi replaces the apprentice hoop. Sure to be in the finish again. DUG ANOTHER HOLE (4) has trialled well coming into this and has ratings good enough to feature. He can run a big race fresh. AIN'TSOBAD (9) can run a bold race first-up.
Race 4: NIXON ELECTRICAL MAIDEN (1685m)
SUMMER'S LEGACY (11) has been rattling home in both runs this campaign from a long way back and now gets an inside barrier and a longer trip. William Pike sticks with the filly and it wouldn't surprise to see her sit a touch closer. Looks a promising type and she can get the job done now. ANTZ PANTZ BABY (9) was no match for the winner last time out at this track when running on strongly from beyond midfield. She's likely to get back in the run again from a sticky draw, but she's knocking on the door and looks to have found a suitable race today. DANEA ROCK (7) has had a few goes now but drops back in distance today following a disappointing effort here two back. At her peak now and is sure to be strong late in the race. HOT LIKE CHILI (6) just missed over 1400m here last start and should appreciate the extra journey today. Include. LE TROY (2) is some chance if he can run up to his latest effort.
Race 5: BUNBURY VOLKSWAGEN HANDICAP (2013m)
LORD RANDOLPH (5) has been going around as favourite in good company at Belmont and Ascot, winning easily over 2200m at Belmont 11 days ago. Chris Parnham rides today, but he maps for a nice run in transit and the slight drop in trip shouldn't be an issue. He's the one to beat. TRUE PLAYER (4) is an improving commodity who steps out to this distance for the first time. By Playing God, he should enjoy the extra journey and he's still open to plenty of improvement being so lightly raced. Pike rides again today and he's sure to go close. HOIST THE COLOURS (3) hasn't been far away of late and comes through the same race Lord Randolph won. He continues to put up consistent ratings and he's sure to be thereabouts once again. SANTA BRAE (2) is ticking along nicely and has winning claims. SEE YA CHAMP (8) wasn't far away last start and will be closing off strongly again.
Race 6: SWAN DRAUGHT HANDICAP (1000m)
OREGON HIKER (5) just missed over this trip at Northam last time out, beaten in a photo finish in a good return to form. That effort stacks up highly in this field and CJP remains in the saddle today. Needs a touch of luck from the draw, but he'll take beating if the breaks come. KINGS HONOUR (3) was only fair in a strong race at Ascot last time out and looks better placed in this race today. He drops right back in grade third-up and Noske has a winning record aboard the gelding. Drawn nicely and will be very hard to run down. RULER ROCKET (1) was just fair first-up but boasts a strong second-up record. he's a track and trip winner and if he can improve as anticipated, he'll go very close to winning. ORACLE SON (4) comes into this off a freshen as he makes his way to the West from Victoria. Has claims if he can hold his form for the new stable. WEDNESDAY (6) is better than she showed last time out and can bounce back.
Race 7: YOUVE GOT THE TABtouch HANDICAP (1200m)
HOUSEWIFE (10) bolted in over 1100m at Northam last start to shed the maiden tag as favourite. She posted a handy figure winning that race and that effort suggested she could work through the grades. Should get the run of the race today and bring up back-to-back wins. SUNLIT FRESCO (4) just couldn't hold on when beaten by a good one at Ascot fresh. She'll be better for that effort and she has the speed to offset the wide alley once again. Back in good order and now has a good platform to build on today. SIRIUS STORM (7) resumes today and was a fresh winner to begin last campaign. He's looked good at the trials recently and the blinkers are reapplied today. Maps for a lovely run and can get the job done. ZEEZEA (5) was too good last time out when winning narrowly and can go on with the job from a better draw now. CLASSIC RULER (1) is better than he's shown his past couple and can bounce back.
Race 8: GEOGRAPHE FORD HANDICAP (1400m)
BELTA OF A SONG (3) made it back-to-back wins with a 1L victory over 1300m at Belmont when running on from the back. Pike hops back in the saddle now and she should sit closer in the run from a nice alley. Improving horse who can get the job done again. ROMMEO (4) resumed in good order over 1200m at Belmont and can build on that effort today. The inside draw is a big tick and he has plenty of ratings good enough from last campaign. Can improve now. ROYAL SPLENDOUR (13) drops back in trip today following a solid fresh run over 1500m at Ascot. The rating he produced there suggested she wasn't far off his best though and she tends to improve with racing. Can play a major role. UNIVERSAL HOTNESS (2) capitalised on his good run of form last time out to win narrowly. Need some luck from the draw but is racing well enough. WHY ME (11) can be flashing late in the race.
