After sprinting well first-up to salute over 1400m, Bullets High has finished runner-up since in average run races over the 1500m and 1600m.
With the bigger field and a more genuine tempo tomorrow, expect to see Bullets High sit a little closer to the speed from the good draw and ssert his authority late.
Joe Pride has a nice opinion of this lightly raced gelding and believes he should progress further through his grades as he stretches out to his optimum distance.
Hovering around the $3.80 quote, Bullets High looks great value to salute.
Our value play comes up in the LR Toyota Forklifts Starlight Stakes (1200m) with the Bjorn Baker trained Caballus.
The underrated entire is fifth-up tomorrow, and has finally drawn a decent barrier.
Caballus returns to Rosehill where he has an excellent record, and the likelihood of a rain affected track will further enhance his chances.
With the $19 on offer Caballus looks exceptional each way value.
