Money Bags has been racing in career best form of late and looks well placed at Morphettville Parks on Saturday when shooting for three wins in a row.

The Phillip Stokes-trained runner has not run out of the placings in his last five outings, and after jumping awkwardly scored a dominant 4.3L win at this course last start over 1400m.

The five-year-old gelding goes up in both trip and class but will only be required to carry 54kgs against these the lowest weight he has carried in his career to date.

Dom Tourneur goes back on board and this season is riding at a winning strike rate of $38% for Phillip stokes at +78.2% profit on turnover.

The pair have had plenty of success in recent times and on what he has produced of late, Money Bags looks set to continue that here.

From barrier 7, expecting Money Bags to settle around midfield although with not a great deal of speed in this may find himself closer.

Just one race later Visual Impact lines up in the Paul Harmer 78 Handicap (1300m) and despite being an 8yo mare has been racing very well of late.

Winning just two runs back at Gawler, the well tried daughter of Mull Of Kintyre is currently at $10 which represents very good value based on her last two runs.

Apprentice jockey Omer Ay goes back on board and claims 3kg, meaning Visual Impact will only be required to carry 53kg, dropping back slightly in class as well.

From barrier 2, expecting her to settle around midfield or just off and at the current odds is well worth an each way ticket in this field.

Nimasael certainly looms as the one to beat having been very good in both runs this campaign but on recent effort Visual Impact is not too far away.

The last race on the program looks a very open affair and at the current price of $2.40 I would be happy taking on California King.

The four-year-old gelding broke through for a maiden win at Balaklava last start albeit by 6.5L and finds himself up in grade today.

That win came on a slow track and his form prior to that was only moderate in easier company.

This is not an overly strong field but he still has plenty to find on last starts effort to be competitive in this and the fact that the win came on a slow track also poses a few questions.

There looks to be multiples chances lining up in the field and coming out of a maiden race in the country California King looks ripe for the picking.
