We are taking a three year old for our first bet at Morphettville Parks this week who may be headed for better things.
Even though the Derby could be this horse’s aim later on, Eclair Attack has enough class win this sprint first up.
Last time in he won the maiden resuming, and later in the prep won his only start on the Parks track before taking on the Caulfield Classic.
Clearly that was too much at the time but he was around five lengths away and in his trial he showed a bit of speed before just being run over late.
He’d have more fitness today and we’ll get a good guide to just how fit he is in the betting. This will be that classic case of the market telling you how ready he is.
Later on we fancy a horse who is yet to win this time in but Capodecina has begun to thrive as the distances increase.
His last couple have been fantastic with the most recent seeing him flash home at Flemington over 1800m.
Should be getting a perfect run in transit and when he’s run over this trip at this track he’s done well.
Without recent wins on the board he may get out to better odds than are currently on offer but still think he’s a good play in any tournament bets you have.
