There appears a lot of even races on the Morphettville Parks card this Saturday.
Our main bet will be the Macdonald/Gluyas runner Counter Pulse in Race 6.
The four year old has had three preparations and won first up each time, all over this distance and two of them on this course.
He is greatly advantaged with the 3kg claim for Matthew Poon and because of that will likely be forward to offset the draw.
Having run well in group races previously, he is very well placed in a BM70.
The last race will be a decent betting contest and again we’re sticking with young Matthew Poon.
Marco Polo ran over the mile just last week but not quite sure he runs it strongly.
They’ve dropped him back a furlong on Saturday but maybe more importantly it is on the Parks circuit on which he has scored three times.
The most recent of those was three weeks ago and he will get a similar run in transit here to that day.
