Dreams Aplenty looks well placed when he returns in the Class 3 Plate over 1200m at Doomben on Saturday.
The three-year-old gelding had just the one run last campaign when well held in the Group 2 Danehill Stakes at Flemington, pulling up lame after the race.
Proven in Group company around the likes of Winning Rupert and Attention, Dreams Aplenty finds himself in the easiest company he has faced for some time now and on best form rates well clear of his rivals today.
Drawing a much better barrier today,Dreams Aplenty should push forward again from the inside gate and he will take plenty of running down fresh.
Earlier in the programme Hard Stride will look to continue his solid form when lining up in open company over 1050m.
The Tony Sears-trained runner has not been too far away his last couple, beaten a length by Upstart Pride when fourth at Eagle Farm last start following a third placing at this C/D in listed company.

Hard Stride rates well in this company on recent form and despite coming up against the in form Quatronic, the current price of $6.50 looks a solid each way bet for a horse with his form.
Should settle just off the pace from barrier 4 and with the apprentice claim right down in the weights would expect him to be right in the finish again.
Good Luck!
