The final race of the day at Kranji will see a very competitive and strong field line up in the Open Benchmark 97 over 1200m.
Countofmontecristo returns off some outstanding form in his debut campaign, putting five wins together before a fifth in the Group 1 Singapore Guineas, still battling on well on that occasion.
Form prior to that saw the son of Echoes Of Heaven win at Group 2 and 3 level and he has trialled leading into this so should be forward enough.
Now a four-year-old taking on the older horses, Countofmontecristo is right down in the weighs today and if he runs up to his form of last campaign he will take plenty of stopping.
With Glen Boss to take the ride again, Countofmontecristo is no certainty to start the race as first emergency but if he gets a run he looks right up to beating these.
Should the Michael Clements-trained runner not get a start Nova Swiss was far from disgraced when midfield in the same company last start, battling on well enough in the straight to finish fifth.
Goes up to the 1200m today where he has won twice previously and his last start coming off a freshen up should be more forward for his task today.
The four-year-old gelding has had the 15 starts for an impressive seven wins and would not be surprised to see him run a big race today with that added fitness on his side.
Daniel produced a terrific effort from gate 12 last start when travelling wide throughout but still managed to run third in the KRA Trophy behind Distinctive Darci and Laser Storm.
Does meet a couple of these worse off that the weights today but he is a consistent runner in good company and despite needing luck again from the wide draw if he can run up to anything near his best he looks a strong chance in this.
Coming up on almost a year since his last win but he is certainly good enough to be somewhere in the finish today off his gallant last start effort.
Laser Storm comes out of that same race when carrying the 57.5kg to finish just behind the very talented Distinctive Darci in the KRA Trophy.
Drops in weight today off that effort but remains over the 1200m where he has won an impressive six races.
Trialled well behind Super Nova over the 1000m leading into this race and does mix his form a bit but a repeat of his last start effort will see him fighting out the finish.
Lincoln Road did not have a great deal of luck last start but still managed to battle on well to finish 2.5L away from Sebas.
Yet to win over the 1200m trip which is a slight concern and has the weight to carry once again today but has shown enough in his relatively short career to suggest he can be competitive.Good Luck!
