The fields get a bit bigger the further we get into the meeting offering more value.
In Race 7, Trogir looked impressive second up. He led and just kept running.
He is up in grade but drops in weight and draws a nice gate to be able to get on speed quickly enough.
We probably don’t want a really wet track as he may control this and a sprint could be critical.
With some recent winners amongst the rivals, we may get better odds than expected.
The horse he defeated at Morphettville a fortnight back was De Jorvik and he’s worth a bet each way in the next.
Good first up to win, he battled hard into second and finds a lovely barrier today.
Assuming he takes up a forward position, he should run a similar race.
The little bit of weight relief can’t hurt either. He is certainly worth throwing into your multiples.
