The Dan Morton trained Bonny Be Good appears nailed on to win when due to contest the seventh event at Belmont on Saturday.
Formerly trained by Team Williams, Bonny Be Good has been building nicely for the Dan Morton stable and sets up well with the Wizard aboard.
Only narrowly beaten at her last two starts, Bonny Be Good has been a sectional star on both occasions and should be at her top on the quick back up (10 days).Prone to getting a long way back in her races, Bonny Be Good will need the speed on up front, however Pike may also look to settle closer from the inside draw.
When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings, she appears well placed and only looks to have to hold her form to be right in the finish again. It is somewhat 'D' day for her, however more than happy to be in her corner.
The Adam Durrant trained At The Ready was a real eye catcher in the Strickland Stakes last start and appears well placed to go on with the job.Due to contest the third event, At The Ready was a sectional star behind Material Man and while his SP (60-1) is some query, he has always shown good promise.
He will no doubt relish the step up to 2200m and only looks to have to repeat the level of performance to be right in the finish again.Peter Knuckey sticks aboard and while likely to get back, he appears capable of rounding them up.
At The Ready is already a winner at the C&D and expect him to be very hard to beat.Best From The West
