The carnival might be over but the quality racing continues and you can watch every minute of live and free on 7Plus and Racing WA!

Christian Johnston-Porter returns to the saddle for the first time since New Year's Day where he started 2025 well with a winner and three placings in four rides.

Johnston-Porter has his best chance for the day coming up in Race 4 aboard SUPERNATURAL who seems to have taken at least natural improvement into this second preparation breaking the maiden first-up and running a creditable second last here over 1000-metres.

The filly by handy sprinter Sessions is on a Racing and Sports rating climb since rounding out her first prep and although being short in the market, can notch her second win in what will be her five-start career.

"The Hyphenator" on again is a plus and the step up to 1200-metres from 1000m shouldn't hold too many concerns.

We'll wait until he end of the day for our next best and trainer Luke Fernie can recoup come of the $625,000 he spent at the Magic Millions sale on the Gold Coast with RISSOLES just before dinnertime.

Chris Parnham jumps back aboard after steering the four-year-old mare to victory in early December in a Class 1 event over 1000m at Belmont.

She then took a ratings leap in a fillies and mares benchmark 66+ event three weeks ago over 1200m with a bit in reserve to the line.

This time she sticks to that distance and can follow-up again.
