Race 1:  OWN THE DREAM 2025 REGISTRATIONS OPEN MAIDEN (1,000m)

ZIPPY ZANY (5) resumed in good order down the Pinjarra straight when closing off strongly and beaten just 1.7L. Now slightly out in trip which looks to suit and she draws much better today. Can take closer order this time and land the knockout blow. SANTANOVA (7) showed enough on debut when sticking on gamely over 1000m here. Now out in trip which doesn't appear an issue, she should be better for the fresh effort and she'll be in this for a long way. NORTH FACE (1) has trialled nicely coming into this campaign, beating Santanova in a recent trial. He looks a more mature commodity this time in work and he'll take beating from a good barrier first-up. CHAMPAGNE COAST (6) didn't handle the soft track in her only run last campaign but had shown flashes of class prior to that. Not discounting.

Race 2:  WITTENS IRRIGATION & DESIGN HANDICAP (1,100m)

SIRIUS STORM (5) showed good improvement last start when only 0.7L off the winner over 1200m at this track. He maps for a lovely run once again for Fiore and he should be hitting his peak third-up. Still has some upside and can go to another level now. REPEATER (1) held on to win narrowly over 1200m at this track last time out after making every post a winner. Suspect similar tactics will be adopted again today and if he's able to control the speed, he'll be very tough to gun down. ROUNDABOUT GLORY (2) didn't turn in a great trial, but his figures last campaign stack up well for a race like this. 1100m fresh looks the right play and if he can get back to his best, he should be right in the finish. FIREY PANZ (8) hasn't been far away lately and should get her chance off the inside.

Race 3:  CUPRUM DISTILLERY MAIDEN (1,200m)

CHEST OUT SWAGGER (2) was sound last campaign but turned in a very sharp trial at Belmont in readiness for this. He has enough speed to offset the barrier and he'll be fit enough to feature on resumption. Looks a nice prospect moving forward and he can get the job done today. SPANGLEDSTAR (8) drops back to maiden company following a solid run in a tougher race at Belmont most recently. Down in the weights, she looks to have some class about her and she can land the knockout blow. SETAGAYA (10) is on debut for the Durrant stable and she's shown plenty of promising signs at the trials recently. Azzopardi sticks from her most recent outings and it wouldn't surprise to see her get the job done on debut. ROCKIN' ROBIN (3) is better than we saw fresh and getting out in trip and a better barrier are two big ticks for his chances.

Race 4:  MGIB MAIDEN (1,200m)

AMERICAN ESCAPE (7) just missed last time out in a big form reversal, beaten only 0.4L over 1300m at Belmont. The form out of that race has been good and she maps for a similar run this time around. She remains down in the weights and she's expected to go one better now. EXTREME RULER (1) wasn't far away on debut when beaten 0.5L over 1000m at this track. Now out in trip which doesn't look an issue and he'd been trialling well coming into his debut. Should be better for that effort and is likely to put his best foot forward once again. SHINE AND BURN (8) is another who wasn't far away on debut, only 0.7L off the winner at this track and trip. She showed plenty of strength there and out-performed her 25-1 SP. Maps for a similar run this time and is likely to feature again with that run under her belt. BUSY FINGERS (4) has looked good at the trials and can play a role on debut. HAPPY EVE (9) won't be far away.

Race 5:  SWAN DRAUGHT MAIDEN (1,400m)

DUG ANOTHER HOLE (2) ran a new peak figure over 1200m here last start when narrowly beaten as favourite. Now third-up into the campaign and he looks ready to go to the next level now out in trip. Needs some luck from the draw but has class and can shed the maiden tag. KAMAKAZI SHOOTER (1) appears the main danger after a 1.2L defeat over this track and trip most recently. He too jumped favourite last start and while he may not have the upside of his main rival, he is knocking on the door of a maiden win. Racing well and can get the job done now. FUNCHAL (13) makes her debut today with CJP in the saddle following a nice trial recently at Lark Hill. The inside draw should give her every chance and in a race lacking some depth, she can make an immediate impact. DASHING ERIKA (10) is also a debutant who has shown enough at the trials. Can feature. SHE'S RESOLUTE (8) won't be far away if she can run up to her recent trials.

Race 6:  BUNBURY VOLKSWAGEN MAIDEN (1,675m)

RHYTHMIC BELLE (9) doesn't look like she has the best form on paper, but the figures behind those races create plenty of interest. She was tested in Saturday grade as a maiden to start this campaign and while she disappointed last time out, this looks a very good race for her. Can turn her form right around. HOT LIKE CHILI (8) just got too far back over a similar trip here most recently. She did close off well late in the race, but she should take closer order this time. Has her hoof on the till and can shed the maiden tag this time. BOSS HOLIDAY (2) closed off well last start and should appreciate getting out in trip now. Maps for a nice run in transit and should be in the finish with further improvement anticipated. BATTLE ON BATTLER (3) can bounce back dropping in distance following a disappointing run last time out. METALIC MARLIN (4) wasn't beaten far last time and ticks some boxes today with the blinkers on first time.

Race 7:  YOUVE GOT THE TABtouch HANDICAP (1,675m)

WHY ME (6) was a dominant victor over 1600m at Albany last start and this looks to set up similarly for him. He ran a strong rating there and he'd run in some good races prior to that performance. Just needs to run up to what he did last start to bring up back-to-back wins. STARATING (2) disappointed as favourite in a strong midweek event first-up, when beaten 2.9L. This is an easier race for her today and she'll be better for the fresh run. Watch for her storming over the top of her rivals late in the race. HE'S ARCHIE (9) is racing in good order, just missing here last start by 0.4L. He steps out in trip now for the first time, but there's nothing to suggest it won't be an issue. Right in the mix on recent ratings. WOZZECK (7) wasn't far away last time at this track in a midweek feature. he maps for a nice run this time and won't be far away if he runs to form. INTERVENTION (4) can improve on the first-up effort and is worth including.

Race 8:  FAMILY DAY @ BUNBURY SUNDAY 29TH DECEMBER HANDICAP (1,400m)

INFURIATED (8) ended last campaign in bad style but he was working through the grades impressively prior to that. His recent trial suggested he's ready to fire first-up and he draws ideally for CJP. Still has plenty of upside and he can kick off this campaign on a winning note. DREAMTIME JEAN (1) is racing in top order, getting the job done narrowly two back before a narrow defeat in the Grandstand Cup at Pinjarra most recently. He draws well for Faithfull who has won when riding previously and he's expected to be hard to run down. BRAVE SHOT (6) is better than we saw last time out and getting out in trip may be what he's looking for now. The 1.5kg claim of Gaerth comes in handy and he has a strong third-up record. Sure to be doing his best work late. FRAPPUCCINO (4) is looking for the hat-trick and will be hard to run down if he's able to dictate from the front. OUTFIELD (5) should find this easier than recent events and won't be far away.
