Terravista wins 2014 Bowermans Furniture The Shorts Group 2 $200,000 at Randwick (NSW) 3yo+, 1100m.
Terravista made it eight wins from 11 starts with a good win here in Group Two class. He was smarty away and settled in fifth place with a trail, following a strong pace. He improved nicely (wide) rounding the home turn, took the lead at the 200m and went on to score comfortably by two lengths, in smart time. He is a classy sprinter with Group One potential.
I’m All The Talk went straight to the front as usual and raced along keenly at a solid pace. He held a
clear break until the 250m and then battled on quite well for second.Famous Seamus was back in last place in the ten-horse field to the turn. He went to the centre of the track at the 300m and ran on particularly well for a very good third.
Sessions was seventh on the rails, switched deep on rounding the home turn and kept running
on quite well for (3.2 lengths) fourth.I’ve Got The Looks was near last on the rails to the turn and kept to the rails in the straight,
making ground to finish (3.3 lengths) fifth while Whittington was fourth on the rails to the turn and seemed to have every chance before finishing (3.8 lengths) sixth.
