Forever Loved wins 2014 Blazer Stakes Group 2 $200,000 at Flemington (VIC) 4yo+ Mares, 1400m.
Vlad Duric was happy to settle in midfield aboard Forever Loved, having shifted across from barrier ten in the early stages. The pace slowed at the 900m as the field rounded the turn, allowing the winner to close up to within around four lengths of the leader, Mezeray Miss.
That leader was swamped at the 200m and Forever Loved took up the running from Enquare to her immediate inside,
who was hampered by the winner as she tried to run inside in the closing strides.May's Dream picked up late to finish third and gave the impression another 200m may see her to best effect.
