The Messina Nymph wins 2015 Farmers Union Manihi Classic Listed $80,000 at Morphettville (SA), 1100m.
The Messina Nymph was away well from her wide barrier and crossed to race one off the fence in second position on the quarters of the leader Nite Rocker. She quickened up well in the straight, picking up the leader at the 250m drawing away and then held off the late challenged of Vatican on the outside.
Vatican enjoyed a nice run in the race in fourth position one of the fence with a trail before being taken four wide on turning for home. He responded well to hard riding and kept finding the line but never really threatened the winner.
