All In Vogue wins 2016 N Z Bloodstock Warstep Stakes Listed NZ$50,000 at Riccarton Park (NZ) 3yoFillies, 2000m.
Jockey, Chris Johnson, allowed All In Vogue to drift early from barrier 11 (of 12), settling equal last. Down the back straight, she found herself last, one off the rails but passing the 800m Johnson scrubbed her up and the Pins filly started to make ground. Widest, she closed in on the leaders and at the 400m, had a great view and clear running then cruised up and took over at the 200m. Appearing to have the race in control, Little Haast challenged briefly so Johnson shook up the winner and she edged away by three quarters of a length at the post for her second win and first stakes win.
Little Haast copped a severe check at the 1200m causing her to drop back to last but she tracked the winner into the home straight, moved a width further out and ran home well, just coming to the end of it short of the line for a pretty decent second.
Princess Davone was wide around the last corner, tried to get on terms with the leaders and then stayed on fairly but had no chance with the first two.
