Ghisoni 2016 Glenlogan Park Stakes Group 3 $150,000 at Doomben (QLD) Fillies & Mares, 1350m.
Godolphin’s smart filly Ghisoni was quickly away from her outside barrier (10) and then travelled well outside the leader (Blueberry Hill). She went to the front at the 200m and then fought back gamely when challenged before going on to score comfortably.
Cradle Me had a good run in fourth place, one out and one back, tracking the favourite (Ghisoni). She challenged that filly at the 150m but found her a bit too classy before battling on well for a sound second.
Beatniks was sixth, one off the rails, put in a run from the 300m and kept making ground to take the minor placing.
