Having her second race after a let up, her third overall, Broadband took out the Group 3 Breeders’ Stakes which was contested over 1200 metres on the main track.

Trained by Phillip Stokes and guided to victory by Noel Callow Broadband led all the way.

Trained by Paul Murray and racing in Adelaide for the third time Fine Mist was last to begin and raced in a midfield position before coming with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Caulfield trainer Henry Dwyer tasted victory when his charge Act of Valour was victorious in the fifth race (Heat 10 Autumn Series) which was run over 1300 metres.

Having the services of visiting jockey Chris Parnham Act of Valour was well placed throughout.

Riziz became a millionaire when he took out the listed City of Adelaide Handicap which was contested over 1400 metres.

Winning his second black type race in a fortnight the Ken Sweeney trained Todd Pannell guided eight year old Riziz came from a midfield position with a strong run in the straight and will now be set for the Group 1 Darley Goodwood Handicap of 1200 metres on May 20.

Showing a liking for the Parks track having won on it previously Fox Hall took out the listed H C Nitschke Stakes of 1400 metres.

Being under the care of Tony McEvoy, who scrapped plans to change tactics, the Damien Thornton ridden three year old gelding Fox Hall will now be prepared for the 1600 metre Adelaide Guineas.

Waging War earned black type status when he brought up a hat trick of wins in the 2030 metre listed Chairman’s Stakes.

Trained by the Macdonald and Gluyas combination and having the services of Clare Lindop Waging War worked his way through the field form a rearward position to bring up win number four from eleven starts. Waging War will now progress to the South Australian derby of 2500 metres.
