The Enzo wins 2018 Inglis Classic Listed $250,000 at Warwick Farm (NSW), 1200m.
The Enzo did everything to be beaten so his strong rally in the run home here augers well for his future. He was slow away but sped along the inner to be midfield in traffic soon after. Rider Josh Parr went wide for a run near the last corner, moved up to fifth in the centre of the track once straightened then went after the leaders.
In a decent tussle with four chances, The Enzo stuck his head in front at the 100m and held them all gamely to the line for his maiden win at his fourth start.
Sanctimonious was widest turning in, co led at the 200m and fought on well to hold second.
Pembroke Castle was also wide into the straight and ran on well for third from Snicki Minaj who co led at the 200m but could only battle thereafter for fourth.
