Prompt Response wins 2018 Yarraman Park Breeders Classic Group 2 $200,000 at Warwick Farm (NSW), 1200m.
Prompt Response took her record to four wins (this is her third stakes) for earnings exceeding $800,000 with a decisive win here. She settled in third (rails) and kept the leaders in sight.
Still third at the 500m but in the clear, rider Blake Shinn pushed her three wide into the straight, ready to challenge. With a great view she balanced, levelled up and took over at the 200m then pulled her way clear and had a length and half to spare at the line.
Egyptian Symbol had three behind her at the 500m, pulled widest and looked a danger at the 200m but the winner had plenty in reserve.
Danish Twist was also well back near the last corner (inner) and had plenty of racing room yet went through the middle, flashing into third when the race was over.
Memes set a strong pace, was headed at the 200m but held on for fourth.
