Superstar sprinter Hay List is set to make his triumph return to racing next year with John McNair indicating the Group 2 Challenge Stakes at Rosehill as his early target.
Currently making the recovery from knee surgery, Hay List has not raced since March this year when he was surprisingly beaten by Foxwedge in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) at Mooney Valley.
In what will be the second time the son of Statue Of Liberty has made his return to racing following a career threatening injury, it still remains a possibility that he may have the opportunity to meet his arch nemesis Black Caviar again over the Sydney Autumn carnival.
