The Sydney Swans have called a snap press conference as speculation swirls about the future of long-time senior coach John Longmire.
John Longmire is expected to step down as senior coach of the Sydney Swans.
The long-time mentor is set to address the decision in a press conference at the Swans' Moore Park headquarters at 1.30pm on Tuesday, called earlier that morning.
Longmire has been in charge of the AFL club since 2011, winning the 2012 premiership and coaching in four grand final losses in 2014, 2016, 2022 and 2024.
The Swans were thrashed in the final two of those losses, most recently entering the 2024 decider as hot favourites before being belted by Brisbane in a 10-goal loss.
