After Sydney slipped up against Fremantle last weekend, Carlton managed to cut the gap at the top of the ladder to eight points.

They now have the chance to keep the pressure on the Swans by picking up another four points against the Giants.

Carlton can be backed at 4.00 to go on and win the 2024 grand final and at this stage look the biggest threat to Sydney.

GWS looked a contender at one point but have since slipped down the ladder and now face a battle to make the top eight.

They are in 10th spot on the ladder and can be backed at 1.90 to play finals.

 Big Kelly blow for GWS

Greater Western Sydney have been rocked by the news that Josh Kelly has suffered another injury setback and is facing a spell on the sidelines.

Kelly has already had one four-week spell out of the side this season, and is now looking at another five weeks.

The 29-year-old suffered a calf strain in the defeat to Adelaide, and another injury setback is the last thing the Giants need.

After losing six of the last eight games they need all their top players in the side, and losing Kelly is a big blow.

The Giants are in desperate need of a result and will also be out for revenge after losing to Carlton by 19 points in round 9.

They will be hoping home ground advantage helps, and can be backed at 5.50 to win by 1-12 points.

Toby Greene booted three goals in the 16-point loss to Adelaide, and can be backed at 10.00 to boot the first goal against Carlton.

Jesse Hogan, who also kicked two against the Crows, is available at 9.50.

 Blues continue to fire

There seems to be no stopping Carlton after winning their last five games on the bounce, and they will fancy their chances of making it six on Saturday.

They have scored over 100 points in four of those wins, with the exception being the clash against Essendon when they scored 96.

The Blues will be out to inflict the same kind of damage on GWS and 5.75 to win by 40+ points.

Orazio Fantasia booted four goals in the win over Richmond and can be backed at 1.47 to score at anytime on Saturday.

Main man Charlie Curnow is available at 8.00 to kick the first goal of the game.

Patrick Cripps continues to have an outstanding season and collected a massive 40 disposals in the win over the Tigers.

The gun midfielder is priced at 3.50 to collect 35+ disposals against GWS.
