Sonador Fire (Race 3) has firmed in two whole points to $3.90 in a race where there is a dominant odds-on pop. The filly has placed at four of her five career runs including her last three on the trot and should appreciate stepping up in distance after going close at this track and trip two runs back.

Sanguine Red (Race 5) looks a good each way chance, trading at a fixed quote of $6 after firming in a point-and-a-half early. He has improve with each run this time and run on hard to finish just behind the placegetters at his last two to suggests he is looking for today’s journey.

Je Suis Prest (Race 7) has been heavily backed early at the expense of the short-priced favourite, firming in 70c to $3.50. She is unbeaten second up and punters are expecting big improvement on her resuming fifth when stepping up in journey today.
