All Too Royal scores at Caulfield. Vinery Stud's All Too Hard (Casino Prince) sired his 13th stakes winner on Boxing Day when the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained six-year-old All Too Royal won the Christmas Stakes (Listed, 1200m) at Caulfield.

Out of the Group 1 winner Bel Mer (Bel Esprit), All Too Royal scored by three quarters of a length from Mystyko (Sakhee's Secret) with Crystal Dreamer (Stratum) third.

Racing in the colours of Vinery Stud, All Too Royal was having his first start since finishing unplaced in the Testa Rossa Stakes (Listed, 1200m) on 29 September.

"His first-up form is good and I was speaking to David before the race and he was very confident," stable representative Will Bourne said.

"He's been going very well at the beach and he goes so well fresh, especially at this distance, so we might try and find another race and keep him at it."

The victory took the gelding's record to 8 wins and 3 placings in 16 starts with prize money now totalling just over $350,000.

His dam Bel Mer won the 2009 Robert Sangster Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) and is herself out of the Listed winner Drop Anchor (At Talaq) making her a sister to the Listed winner Ken Arok.

All Too Royal was bought for $270,000 by Damon Gabbedy's Belmont Bloodstock at the 2016 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the draft of Goldin Farms and Ruston Park will offer his Written Tycoon (Iglesia) half-brother at the forthcoming Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale as Lot 126.

All Too Hard has 6 lots catalogued to sell on the Gold Coast.
