Holy Roman Emperor's outstanding race mare Banimpire became one of the most expensive thoroughbreds to go under the hammer in Ireland when she sold for an amazing €2.3 million at the Goffs November breeding stock sale.
She was bought by Oceanic Bloodstock's Michel Zerolo on behalf of owner Martin Schwartz and will continue her racing career in America.
Sold by Jim Bolger's Glebe House Stables, Banimpire is a five times Group winner including this year's G2 Ribblesdale Stakes and G2 Royal Whip Stakes and placings in the Irish and French Oaks.
