Dual King George VI Chase winner Silviniaco Conti is to participate in a racecourse gallop at Chepstow on Tuesday.
Trainer Paul Nicholls sends the seven-times Grade One winner - who was last seen pulling up in the Grand National at Aintree in April - to the Monmouthshire course for the first time since he made his debut over fences back in 2011, for a workout ahead of the eight-race card.
The 10-year-old will be joined in the exercise by his stablemate Ptit Zig, winner of a Grade One hurdle in France on his most recent start in June.
Clerk of the course Keith Ottesen said: "Paul Nicholls is planning to bring both Silviniaco Conti and Ptit Zig for a racecourse gallop before racing, which is a good bonus. He just wants to give them a spin and a day out.
"They are just having a gallop and as they are Grade One-winning horses they are permitted by the BHA to be able to before racing."
