Described after by Kieren Fallon as the best he has ridden, Dylan Thomas has kept improving with racing and even though beaten bu Authorized at his last outing this was the real Dylan Thomas as he accounted for the other runners and then his stablemate Duke of Marmalade to win by 1 1/2 lengths. Finsceal Beo was disappointing at the longer distance finishing last of the six runners.
Echelon won the Matron to finally get her name in the G1 stats with Red Evie unable to do the back-to-back and having to settle for second. Eastern Appeal finished third but got rubbed out for doing nasty things to Arch Swing who got the official third place.
Hearthsted Maison won the Kilternan Stakes with Arch Rebel and Bell's Regime following him home.
