Sahpresa no surprises in Sun Chariot

3 minute read

This was at Newmarket on Saturday, where there were by contrast some surprises in the placings.

UK!

It was Chachamaidee, who is having a pretty good late season, second home at 9/1 and Strawberry

Daiquiri back in favour in third place.

Earlier Aiden O'Brien made a clean sweep of the Royal Lodge which was won by Daddly Long Legs,

followed home by stablemates Tenth Star and Wrote. Astrology didn't run in this and Rockinante was the

best Hannon runner in fourth.

The Chevely Park went to the lovely Lightening Pearl with a shock second in Sunday Times at 33/1 and

third to an improved run for Angels Will FAll. Best Terms ran fifth and Fire Lily didn't make the journey

over to Newmarket.

For the record the Cambridgeshire finished up with 32 runners and was won by Prince of Johanne at 40/1,

Stevie Thunder next at 25/1, Proponent third at 14/1, Nanto fourth 33/1 and Markazzi fifth at 16/1. The

Tricast paid over 13,000 Stg and doesn't look like anything bigger went off.
