Tosen Macau was almost able to get the rare double of the Centaur-Sprinters but fell short by a neck with Namura Clair getting the third spot ahead of Mama Cocha.  Satono Reve was disappointing and finished seventh. 

The Hong Kong runner Victor the Winner was sixth and Mugen appears not to have liked the track and finished towards the rear but not last!
