It was a day of firsts at Bathurst on Monday for leading trainer Peter Snowden and his emerging apprentice Patrick Lo.
It was the first time Snowden had sent horses to race at Bathurst from his massive Warwick Farm stable and provided Lo with his first winning rides for the stable.
Lo landed a double on Dairy and Plaisance while John Grisedale completed the treble for the stable aboard first starter Boston Tea.
"The main aim of having those runners at Bathurst was to try and give Patrick his first winner and he got the job done," Snowden said.
"It was the first time I've sent horses to Bathurst. I rode there once as an apprentice but I didn't win a race.”
Boston Tea was the 27th individual 2YO winner trained by Snowden this season. His juveniles have 42 races.
Snowden also had a win at Muswellbrook on Monday when Ouija completed a winning treble after two provincial wins.
