With three successive wins up to 1200m, including a last start Group Three win here two weeks back, the only question was whether the favourite Tequila Time could see out the 1400m but he was too good again. Jockey Clare Lindop had him handy from the outset, leading briefly then dropping into a nice trail (rails). Lindop eased away from the rail down the side, went up to challenge just before straightening but didn't catch the leader until inside the 200m then drew out to have the race under control short of the line. A super run from Fundamentalist who was last at the 600m and still last turning in (wide) then flew down the outer for a top second, three-quarters of a length back. Secret Blaze was well back turning in and ran on strongly to lunge into third late from pacemaker Gododdin who led to the 200m but was swamped late for a good fourth.
