Red Excitement 2015 Chester Manifold Stakes Listed $120,000 at Flemington (VIC), 1400m.

Red Excitement continued his winning streak, making in five wins in succession with good late-closing win. He was eased from his wide barrier (11) and settled back in sixth place, following a solid pace (set by Lord Of The Sky). He commenced his run rounding the home turn, went to fourth at the 200m and lifted gamely in the closing stages to grab a half head win at the post.

Tried And Tired had a nice trip, back in fifth place on the rails. He got to third at the 300m, took a narrow lead at the 100m and only failed narrowly for a good second.

Whisper Downs was a distant tenth on the rails, improved between runners at the 800m and fanned deep on straightening, going to fifth at the 200m. He then kept making good ground for a close third in a promising firstup performance.

Mister Milton also made ground, coming from 11th at the 800m to finish (2.1 lengths) fourth while the speedy Lord Of The Sky gave a bold display in front, only wilting on passing the 100m to finish (3.7 lengths) seventh at his first attempt at 1400m.
