Breakout Cat- Max Holmes impressed once again with an equal team high- 27 disposals, taking 10 marks and making 511 meters for his side

James Sicily was the hero for the Hawks in a low scoring match, booting 3 goals in a move up front that inspired a massive upset and keeping them in the finals hunt.

James Worpel won an equal game high- 24 disposals and a game high- 8 inside 50s in a low disposal match and should be rewarded by the umpires.

Errol Gulden leapfrogged up to second place on the Brownlow Leaderboard with another brilliant performance without Isaac Heeney to contend for his votes this round. Errol will poll either 2 or 3 against the Roos with 41 disposals, 13 contested, 15 inside 50s and 15 score involvements- all game highs.

Chad Warner was back to his best and will be entrenched in the top-10 of the Brownlow Leaderboard with his 31-disposal game, kicking 2 goals and being involved in 14 scores.

Tom Papley was brilliant with 4 goals from 19 disposals in one of his best games of the season.

Jamarra Ugle- Hagan stood up in a massive win for the Bulldogs, booting 4 goals and taking 6 marks to make up his 20 disposals. 13 of his 20 touches led to scores.

Bailey Dale has put his hand up for another All-Australian jacket with another standout game, winning a game high- 31 disposals at 80% efficiency, 638 meters gained, as well as 7 intercept possessions and a goal.

Despite the 14-point loss, Patrick Cripps tried his best to drag the Blues over the line and is likely to be rewarded by the umpires. The 2021 Brownlow Medallist had 28 disposals, game high- 15 contested and 11 clearances and booted 2 goals.

With Christian Petracca out of the side, Trent Rivers has stepped up with increased responsibilities, winning 29 disposals, equal game high- 13 contested and a game high- 8 clearances.

Sam Flanders was brilliant in the midfield once again, winning a game high- 30 disposals and 11 score involvements which included a goal.

Zak Butters won a game high- 35 disposals, 8 score involvements and 554 meters gained, taking 12 marks and kicked a goal.

Toby Greene struck early and secured the win for the Giants with 4 goals from 17 disposals, with 10 score involvements- a performance we're more used to seeing from the 2023 All-Australian captain.

Lachie Whitfield continued his impressive season playing mostly off the back-half, winning 35 disposals, taking 12 marks and controlling the game for the Giants.

Hugh McCluggage was at his best with 32 disposals, 6 marks, 6 tackles, 10 contested, game high- 575 meters gained and a team high- 7 inside 50s.

Tim Kelly was brilliant in keeping the Eagles in striking distance of the top-4 Lions, winning 29 disposals, an equal game high- 7 inside 50s and kicking a goal.

Jye Caldwell impressed again in the midfield with 30 disposals, a team high- 14 contested possessions and 8 clearances as well as kicking a goal. Should get the recognition this week in a Bombers victory.

Despite the 2-goal loss, Jack Crisp caught the eye with 3 goals in a row to go with 24 touches, 11 contested and 510 meters gained.

Luke Davies- Uniacke continued his great form and is always a strong chance to poll in the rare Kangaroos victories. The classy midfielder had 30 disposals, 9 clearances, 12 contested and a goal.

Colby McKercher played the best game of his short career, leading the match for disposals with 37 and meters gained with 666.

Jesse Hogan was back to the form that saw him leading the Coleman Medal at the start of the season, booting 5 goals from 15 disposals, taking 9 marks with 6 of them coming from contested situations.

Tom Green was at his ball winning best with an equal game high- 33 touches to go with 14 contested, 6 clearances, 6 inside 50s and a goal.

Harry McKay was doing his bit up the other end with 5 goals after Charlie Curnow was being well held to 1 goal from 8 disposals.

Jacob Van Rooyen played his best game of the season with an equal career high- 4 goals for the match as well as 9 marks, 14 disposals and a game high- 10 score involvements.

Caleb Windsor stood out in a match without many huge ball winners, picking up 25 disposals (2nd most on the ground) and 7 score involvements including a goal.

Hugh McCluggage had 28 disposals, 12 contested, 7 score involvements and kicked the winning goal. Josh Dunkley was his usual self through the middle with a game high- 32 disposals, 12 marks, 10 tackles, and team high- 14 contested possessions and 7 clearances.

Lachie Neale was busy with 29 touches, 9 marks, 12 contested and 6 clearances which ranked highly amongst the winning side.

Kysiaiah Pickett was the best for the Demons in a close loss with a 5-goal haul.

Harry Sheezel's impact in the midfield has been immense this season, picking up 27 disposals, 5 clearances and kicking a goal.

Tom Liberatore is a chance to get in the votes with not many players having big disposal numbers. The Bulldogs barometer had 25 disposals (2nd highest of any Bulldog), 9 contested, kicked a goal and had 2 assists.

Ben Keays got very involved forward of centre with a game high- 10 score involvements which included 2 goals. Keays had a well-rounded match with 21 touches, 8 tackles (game high), 11 contested possessions (ranked 3rd of all Adelaide players).

Despite the loss to the Giants, Lachie Whitfield's impact on the match was immense, leading the match with 41 disposals and 12 marks as well as 564 meters gained.

Jack Bowes impressed in the Cats 45-point win against the Bombers, leading all Cats players with 26 disposals and 8 inside 50s to go with 7 tackles, 10 contested possessions and a goal.

Oliver Dempsey has put his hand up as one of the Rising Star favourites with another big performance, kicking 2 goals, 2 assists and having 7 inside 50s from his 25 disposals.

After a few big games in a row, Jye Caldwell gets in the votes for his individual efforts in a match with low disposal and goal tallies. Caldwell led all players for disposals (32), clearances (12), contested possessions (18) and tackles (12).

Jack Sinclair was at his best in a close loss, leading the match for disposals (31), as well as having 8 intercept possessions and 10 marks.

Rowan Marshall had a big impact in the forward half with 3 goals to go with his 18 disposals, 10 hitouts, 9 marks and 7 score involvements.

Patrick Cripps has jumped up to become the leader of the Brownlow Medal Leaderboard with a captain's knock against one of the Blues biggest rivals in Richmond. The 2021 Brownlow Medallist was a standout with 40 disposals, 17 contested, 14 clearances, 9 inside 50s and a goal! With less players stealing his votes than Isaac Heeney (with Errol Gulden, Chad Warner, Brodie Grundy etc.) and as a proven vote getter (career high Brownlow tallies of 29, 26 and 20 votes), Cripps is a great back at this stage of the season.

Sam Walsh is Crippa's only teammate that may steal votes on a weekly basis, however, in this case he is a strong chance for the 2 votes. Walsh picked up 26 disposals, had 10 tackles, 11 score involvements and kicked 2 goals.

Orazio Fantasia played his best game in the navy blue, booting a game high- 4 goals from 13 disposals.

The Hawks on-ballers took full control of the match against the Eagles, and it will be a toss up between who will get the major or minor votes.

2019 Best and Fairest- James Worpel was at his in and under best, collecting game high 11 clearances, 11 score involvements as well as 28 disposals and 14 contested.

Dylan Moore continued his strong form that could see him pick up an All-Australian blazer at the end of the year with another eye-catching game that saw him have 29 disposals, 2 goals and 12 marks.

Charlie Curnow feasted out on the Cats once again with a bag of 5 goals that has given him a healthy lead in the Coleman Medal race.

Tom De Koning's brilliant form has stayed strong as ever, with 25 disposals, 7 clearances, 6 tackles, 34 hitouts, game high- 20 contested and a direct goal kicked on his brother.

Oscar McInerney booted a career high- 3 goals in a monster performance in the ruck, winning 31 hitouts, 8 clearances, 15 contested and 18 disposals for the match.

James Rowbottom played the best game of his career, winning 32 disposals, game high- 11 clearances and 20 contested possessions. He should get the recognition he deserves this round after going under the radar as a role player for majority of his games.

Brodie Grundy continued his brilliant form with 28 touches, 31 hitouts and 4 clearances from the ruck.

Tom Green was the best for the losing Giants, picking up 35 disposals, 8 marks, and a team high- 15 contested possessions.

Joe Daniher seemed to do as he pleased, booting 5 goals in the Lions 20-point win, taking 12 marks on his way to 20 disposals- big numbers for a key forward.

The pick of the midfielders for the Lions was the highly touted Hugh McCluggage who had 26 disposals (the second most of any Brisbane player), kicking 2 goals and being involved in a game high- 12 scores.

Recruit- Lachlan Bramble has been a welcome addition from the Hawks and played brilliantly with 30 disposals, 662 meters gained and kicking a goal.

Jai Newcombe continues his consistent form this season with 26 disposals – the most of any Hawks midfielder, a team high- 12 contested possessions, game high- 11 score involvements and a goal.

Brodie Grundy's work in the ruck can't go unrecognised with 21 contested possessions (game high), 11 score involvements as well as 34 hitouts and 2 contested marks.

Chad Warner and Isaac Heeney are unlucky to not get more votes for their individual efforts. Warner had 26 impactful disposals with 653 meters gained, game high- 8 inside 50s and 2 brilliant goals.

Meanwhile, Brownlow Medal leader- Isaac Heeney was fantastic with 26 touches, 12 contested, 5 clearances and back-to-back goals that dragged Sydney back into the game. The Swans stealing votes off each other may cost one of these three midfielders a Brownlow Medal this season- especially with numerous players- Patrick Cripps, Zach Merrett, Marcus Bontempelli and Nick Daicos – all dominating as the best midfielders for their respective sides.

Tom De Koning's brilliance as the solo ruckman may change the Blues structure for the rest of the season. The highly touted tall finished with 18 disposals, 6 tackles, equal team high- 8 clearances, 28 hitouts and a goal.

Ben Long did his role well up forward with 4 goals from 13 disposals and was involved in 7 scores.

Matt Rowell and Touk Miller are once again the likely contenders for the minor votes as the key midfielders. Miller had 28 disposals, 10 contested, 6 clearances and a goal, whilst Rowell had 26 touches, 13 contested, 8 clearances and 8 score involvements.
