Randwick plays host to one of the most exciting days on the racing calendar with a host of Group 1 races headed by the TAB Epsom Handicap (1600m), and the official start of the two-year-old season.

Looking to bookend the meeting with our best of the day in race 10, the TAB Handicap (1200m), with the progressive Moravia.

The Michael Freedman trained gelding improved sharply off his unlucky first up run when demolishing his rivals in BM88 grade over this track and trip two weeks ago.

Tomorrow, Moravia gets a similar set up with James McDonald retaining the ride.

He should be able to get into the stalking position from the good draw.

Confidence is now high after hitting a new career peak last start, and with further improvement he's expected to prove tough to beat again.

The stable has always had a good opinion of the strapping four-year-old Snitzel gelding, and expect to see him race deep into the spring in stronger company. 

Out next best comes up in race 1, the Midway Handicap (1800m), with the exciting Hooligan Tommy.

The Ocean Park gelding from the John Sargent stable has been a slow maturing type who will handle the rise in grade as he chases his third straight victory.

With just 52.5kg on his back, he will relish the 1800m and can finish over the top of his rivals.
