The Asian Beau Stakes is a Group 3 race run under Handicap conditions for the sprinters at Ascot conducted by Perth Racing.

The Asian Beau Stakes is run over 1400m. It was first run in 1982 and was won by Nitro Lad.

The race is named after a top sprinter miler Asian Beau winning races like the Railway and Winterbottom.

Early editions of the Asian Beau Stakes were over six furlongs but since 1993 has been at 1400m.

The Asian Beau Stakes was a Listed Race from 1985 then a Group 3 from 1999.

2003 running was at Belmont racecourse.

In 2011 Luckygray won the Asian Beau Stakes before the Railway Stakes his next run. Inspirational Girl did the same thing in 2020.

Pounamu began a prep with a win in the Asian Beau before taking the Kingston Town and Ted Van Heemst.

Galaxy Star used this race as her lead up race before winning the Railway as did Western Empire in 2021.
