Winning Trainer: Tom Dabernig (rep by Dara O'Meachair)
On leading all the way to win: "There's probably no better jockey in the state to do that than J Fry. A lot of credit to the horse, he's been in a long time and obviously he toughed it out well, but I think J Fry deserves the majority of today's plaudits because that was a real masterclass."
"(he was) rated beautifully and Jarrod kicked at the right time. It didn't look like there was a whole lot of pace in the race and they probably left him alone a little in front, which horse and rider looked to enjoy, and he was good and strong right through the line.
"He was obviously getting a little lonely late but he did all the work so credit to the horse."
On training him: "He goes down to the beach quite often and we don't do a great deal with him, he just ticks over, he's been doing a lot of racing so he keeps himself fit so we just maintain him in between and he fronts up in good order more often than not."
Winning Jockey: Jarrod Fry
On leading all the way: "I won on him two starts ago and it was a good, gritty win up on-speed and when he began like that today and nothing wanted to take it up I was more than happy to.
"The horse can really sustain a gallop and we had them chasing a long way out and we got it right because right just had enough but we got our head out when it counted."
"I was pretty confident when we gave a kick at the top of the running because I felt we rolled along pretty genuine and then I made them chase but that suited the horse too because he can sustain a gallop."
