Located in the Nation's Capital, the track hosts racing mostly in the warmer months. The track is 25m wide with a camber of 5 degrees for the bends. The soil base is a sandy loam mixture. Canberra Cup day is held in March as well as the Black Opal Stakes for the two year olds.
