PATRICK MOLONEY
Patrick Moloney began his career during the 2011/12 season when apprenticed to his trainer father Gerard Moloney.
Having had most success riding for his uncle John, Patrick Moloney has also been used by the lies of Stephen Brown, Mick Price and Pat Carey, riding an impressive 23 Metropolitan winners during the 2013/14 season.
That same season saw Moloney ride in his first Group 1 aboard Magnus Reign in the Oakleigh Plate with a bad fall when breaking both ankles ruling him out of the metro apprentices’ title.
