Flexi betting is a product which allows bettors to take a selected exotic bet type which has multiple combinations but where you are able to choose an outlay you are comfortable with.
If you only wished to spend $15.00 on your box trifecta but wanted to select four horses, this could not be done as a standard four horse box trifecta costs $24.00. With flexi betting, you can box the same four horses and outlay only $15.00.
You can do this due to taking only a percentage of the full trifecta, in this case, 62.50%. If your trifecta won in this scenario, you would be entitled to 62.50% of the winning dividend. For example, if the winning dividend was $200.00, this winning ticket would be worth $135.00.
The flexi percentage of your wager can be determined by dividing your outlay by the amount of combinations your exotic bet has. In this case, $15.00 outlay ÷ 24 combinations = 62.50%.
