The ratings have been adjusted in the Form Guides for the weight allocated to each runner in the race relative to the minimum. This makes them directly comparable and easy to use when assessing the merit of runs in the guide.

In the horse look up there is no allocated weight and therefore no adjustment – leaving a raw figure.

The rating in the horse look up is ‘live’ in that it will continue to update in accordance with the weight-for-age scale as horses get older.
