Warwick Racecourse is located 170km south west of Brisbane on a site adjacent to the Condamine River. Warwick racecourse is a popular Darling Downs racing centre 60km south of Toowoomba and is the home of the Warwick Turf Club. Warwick Turf Club is one of the oldest in Queensland - the first Warwick Cup pre-dates the Melbourne Cup.
Warwick’s Allman Park racecourse is situated on the Condamine River flats an d hosts up eight race meetings each year with the Warwick Cup meeting held in October. Warwick racecourse is a tight oval circumference of 1600 metres with starting chutes for races over 850 metres and 1350 metres.
