Improvement second up: "She's come on really well from that run but I think the key factor today, that track just firmed up a little bit too much for her liking at Sandown the other week so today she's got this perfect track here at Caulfield, they've done a lovely job presenting it the way they have, I think that really suited her and we saw her let down."

Re-uniting with Jamie Kah: "I think just the way that Jamie lets her flow along, she doesn't get in a fight with her, she just lets her find a nice rhythm where she's comfortable and it's fantastic to see Jamie back and it's the first winner she's ridden for the partnership so it's a little bit special."

"She was just saying before she really wanted to ride a winner for Pete (Moody) and for myself so I'm rapt for her."

Black-type potential: "We'll just continue to slowly build through her grades and continue to try and work on that black-type pedigree without setting the bar too high."

How the race unfolded: "I had to do a bit work early but she's so well educated, she came back and relaxed straight away which helped her and if we drew a gate she probably wins by further today but you can't get everything so I'll just take the win."
