Canterbury Bulldogs are targeting three wins on the bounce when they take on Parramatta Eels in the King's Birthday clash.
The Bulldogs will be on a high after smashing Newcastle Knights last week and can close the gap on the top eight with another win.
Cameron Ciraldo's men can be backed at 15.00 to reach the 2024 grand final, but first up they have to book their place in finals.
Parramatta should also be feeling better about themselves after snapping a five-game losing streak by beating Cronulla Sharks.
They have been boosted by the return of star playmaker Mitchell Moses and skipper Clint Gutherson and will fancy their chances of going back-to-back.
It will take something special for them to make finals this season, but there is still a chance if the wins keep flowing.
. What: Canterbury Bulldogs v Parramatta Eels
. Where: Accor Stadium, Sydney
. When: 16:00 (AEST), Monday 10th June 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel
. Odds: Canterbury Bulldogs 2.15, Parramatta Eels 1.72
Addo-Carr blow hurts Bulldogs
The Bulldogs picked up a massive two points when beating the Knights 32-2 on their own deck last week, but it did come at a cost.
Star winger Josh Addo-Carr picked up a hamstring injury and is facing up to 10 weeks on the sidelines.
All eyes will be on wingers Blake Wilson and Jacob Kiraz to score the tries and they are both priced at 2.10 to score at anytime.
Jacob Preston has also scored four tries in the past three games and is a bigger price at 3.70 to score at anytime.
The win at Newcastle was their first on the road this season, and was even more impressive considering they did it without their State of Origin stars.
Matt Burton and Stephen Crichton will come back into the side as the Bulldogs look to maintain an impressive home record.
They have yet to lose on home soil in 2024 and can be backed at 3.50 to beat the Eels by 1-12 points.
Eels looking to kick on
Following a rough few weeks, the Eels will look to make a charge for the top eight now that Gutherson and Moses are back on board.
They looked a different team against the Sharks and will aim to build on the 34-22 victory, following an extended break.
Gutherson will also be making his 200th NRL appearance, so there is even more motivation for the Eels to get a result.
The fullback can be backed at 2.30 to celebrate the occasion by grabbing a try at anytime in the game.
The Eels have won eight out of the last nine meetings between the two sides, but that counts for little on current form.
Even so, Parramatta can be backed at 3.00 to put on a show and beat the Bulldogs by 13+ points.
