They also race at Albury and Muswellbrook.

Supido's Choice @ 3.60

Race 7 Albury

Kappy's Angel @ 5.50

Race 6 Muswellbrook

Tapa Kick @ 3.60

 Choice made for Pakenham success

A ten-race card is scheduled for Pakenham, with the seventh race on the card a 1200m Benchmark 58 handicap.

Ciaron Maher's Golden Estrella is expected to have her supporters having finished in the first two in three of her four starts this prep.

The filly's first three starts came on wet turf tracks with the sole disappointment coming when tenth in a Benchmark 58 handicap over 1300m at Wangaratta last month.

The four-year-old had previously placed second over this distance on the turf course here and heads into this contest on the back of a win on Ballarat's synthetic track.

The daughter of Zoustar got home by a narrow margin when contesting a similar race to this that day and, while she rates highly, preference is for SUPIDO'S CHOICE.

The gelding demonstrated ability in his sole start in 2023 going down by a narrow margin when runner-up over 1000m at Tatura in November.

The 3.60 pick was subsequently beaten over two-and-a-half-lengths when fifth of six in an 1100m maiden on a good 4 track when racing at Sale first up this prep.

However, he took a marked step forward when switched to the synthetic here to register an impressive track and trip win three weeks ago.

The selection came home over two-and-a-half-lengths clear of his rivals on that occasion and he looks capable of defying a wide barrier to complete a double.

 Angel goes for Albury glory

The seventh race at Albury is an 1175m Benchmark 74 handicap set to take place on a heavy 10 surface.

Andrew Dale saddles Shooting For Stars here with the filly expected to feature prominently in the betting.

The four-year-old won on a good 4 track at Wagga in March but has gone well on wet tracks in the past, including when runner-up at Narrandera earlier this month.

The filly lost out by half-a-length when contesting a Benchmark 74 handicap on that occasion.

While Shaun Guymer's mount holds obvious claims in this field, the pick here is KAPPY'S ANGEL.

The selection finished a length third in the previously mentioned Narrandera race having demonstrated winning form this prep prior to that.

That Narrandera effort was just the 5.50 pick's second outing on a heavy track having recorded a half-length success on a heavy 8 surface at Wagga Rivverside Apil

The six-year-old has registered three wins so far in 2024 with the most recent coming over 1200m in a Benchmark 74 handicap at Wagga Riverside in May.

The daughter of Kaphero is a fairly versatile type with regard to tactics and she is set to jump from barrier four with apprentice Holly Durnan set to ride.

 Kick to salute at Muswellbrook

A heavy 10 track is expected at Muswellbrook with the penultimate race on a seven-race card a 1500m Benchmark 66 handicap.

TAPA KICK takes the eye here, having demonstrated good winning form earlier this season when breaking his maiden by half-a-length at Gosford in December.

The three-year-old followed that up with a track and trip win in a Benchmark 66 handicap held on a soft 5 track in early January.

The 3.60 selection has made just one subsequent start with that coming when placing second in a 1600m Benchmark 66 handicap at Tamworth later that month.

Trained by Paul Messara & Leah Gavranich the pick is untested on the forecast heavy going however he shapes as if he will have no issues with the expected going.

Mitch Stapleford takes two kilograms off the pick's back and his mount looks up to recording the third win of his career.
